Seeking Skilled Handyman Position: Full-Time Union Shop - Handyman to Superintendent Ideal candidate seeking a long-term position Responsibilities: Performing routine building maintenance Handling emergencies and after-hours building issues Handling snow equipment Overseeing contractors Daily inspection of the property Responding to work orders from shareholders Reviewing apartment renovation requests Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition Working closely with building management and porters to address property needs Report repairs, safety hazards, and code violations promptly Qualifications: Knowledge of all building equipment, gas boilers, roofs and windows Certifications for boilers, fire systems Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and general repairs, boiler systems, pumps/motors Ability to supervise staff and handle daily work orders Able to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills with both shareholders and Board Good record keeping for property maintenance needed
